<br /> <br />Historic Preservation Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />July 10, 2006 <br />City Hall, Council Chambers <br />749 Main Street <br />7:00 <br />PM <br /> <br />Call to Order <br /> – Chairperson Heather Lewis called the meeting to order at 7:05 PM. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />: <br /> <br />Commission Members Present: <br /> <br />Callan Childs, Mike Koertje, Heather Lewis, Greg McMenamin, <br />Laurel Tofte <br /> <br />Commission Members Absent: <br />Melanie Julian Muckle, Rod Wilcox <br /> <br />City Representatives: <br />Meredyth Muth, Community Facilitator <br /> <br /> <br />Approval of Agenda <br /> – Koertje moved to approve the agenda, McMenamin seconded <br />the motion. All in agreement. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> – McMenamin moved to approve the minutes, Koertje seconded <br />the motion. All in agreement. <br /> <br />Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda <br /> – None <br /> <br />Properties Potentially Affected by FasTracks - Mrs. Downer’s Cabins, 809 & 801 <br />Lee Avenue <br />Muth reported that Wilcox had been in contact with the owner of the cabins regarding <br />their preservation. Wilcox said the owner may be interested in saving them, but at this <br />time he has no plans to develop the site or remove the cabins at this time. <br /> <br />Jean Morgan asked the Commission if she should continue pursuing alternatives for the <br />cabins. The Commission encouraged her to do so. Morgan said she would formally <br />request to the City Council to find a City-owned location to which the cabins could be <br />moved and preserved. <br /> <br />Review City Council Study Session, June 13 <br />Lewis reported that the City Council was very receptive of the Commission’s request for <br />zoning incentives in particular as this would not cost the City any revenue but might help <br /> <br />City of Louisville <br />City Manager’s Office 7 <br />49 Main Street Louisville CO 80027 <br />303.335.4565 (phone) 303.335.4550 (fax) www.ci.louisville.co.us <br /> <br /> <br />
