She noted it was a difficult decision as the house had a great deal of
architectural integrity however the excavation of the rear foundation showed that
the foundation had significant damage and was unlikely to sustain an addition.
She and Tofte released the permit.

940 Main Street – Lewis reported that she and Tofte had reviewed this request
and released the permit. The home had very little architectural integrity left and
the additions made over the years were particularly poor. In addition, the home
had a noticeable mold problem.

Items from Staff

Brick Silo on Pine Street – Muth reported that the parcel on Pine Street with the
brick silo is listed for sale. One real estate agent contacted the Planning
Department about demolishing the silo. In addition, some neighbors contacted
Muth regarding landmarking the silo.

Lee Street Demolitions – Muth went to look at the site on Lee Avenue that was in
question at the June meeting. She found only one area that was disturbed and
after reviewing a 2004 aerial photo it looks as though only small out buildings
were removed. No permit is required to remove buildings of that size.

Update on Building Division Information – The Building Division is now including
the additional information from the Commission in its information to contractors.

An article from the Rocky Mountain News and copies of the Louisville Historian
were distributed.

Items from Commission Members
– None

Discussion Items for Next Meeting
– Reference materials for preservation.

Adjourn
– Meeting adjourned at 8:35 PM.
