<br />IIi.'" <br />'1 ", <br /> <br />, ~. <br />;. ... - <br />~ ." . <br /> <br /> <br />Horticulture & Forestry <br /> <br />Advisory Board <br /> <br />Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Thursday, June 4,2009 <br />Library Meeting Room <br />951 Spruce Street <br />7:00 PM <br /> <br />Call to Order - Chairperson Mike Frontczak called the meeting to order at 7:05 <br />pm. <br /> <br />Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: <br /> <br />Board Members Present: Mike Frontczak, Vickie Marra, Theresa Rounds, <br />Matt Tepe, Ellen Toon <br />Staff Members Present: Chris Lichty, Joe Stevens <br />City Council Member Present: Dave Clabots <br /> <br />Approval of Agenda - The agenda was approved by all members. <br /> <br />Approval of Meeting Minutes - The minutes from the May 7, 2009 meeting <br />were approved as written. <br /> <br />Public Comments/Non-agenda Items - Discussion of current issue before City <br />Council to change ordinance to allow residents to raise chickens within Louisville <br />city limits. <br /> <br />Chris and Vickie reported that the Blooming Seniors group has completed <br />planting of flowers at Rec Center. <br /> <br />Joe reported that herbicide spraying has been taking place on selected City <br />properties to control weeds in high-use areas (golf course, sports complex) and <br />problem areas (Joe Carnival Park.)
