ConocoPhillips is known for technological expertise in exploration and
production, reservoir management and exploration. It employs approximately
30,000 worldwide and has assets of 150 billion dollars. Their purpose is to use
their pioneering spirit to responsibly deliver energy to the world. ConocoPhillips
is committed to sustainable dBvelopment and to being an active part of the
communities in which they locate. ConocoPhillips vision for the Louisville site is
a global energy technology research and development center and a corporate
learning and leadership center.

The current activities at the sit,s include the completion of the building
deconstruction, the HOK desi~ln team development of a site inventory and
analysis; assessing the types of functional spaces for the site; and development
of a master plan based on that analysis and spaces ConocoPhillips envisions.
The completed deconstruction process recycled over 100 million tons of
materials and less than 5% left the site for the landfill.

David Amalong, Vice President of HOK, Landscaping Architect, who will design
the ConocoPhillips site, explained the site has been under analysis for the last
six months. The analysis sets the processes for evaluating the site access;
hydrology, plant communities; sound levels; site terraces and soil conditions. He
reviewed the site opportunities for the property; which include connectivity to
community; optimizing mountain views and creating a compact campus. The
land use and landscape design will create a campus in a prairie; with quiet and
astonishing views; and a sustainable site that optimizes land use and site
adjacencies. The next steps in the process will require work on the master plan.
