SIMMONS <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />DATE: January 7, 1997 <br />COUNCIL COMMUNICATION <br />SUBJECT: Resolution No. 1, Series 1997 A Resolution of Substantial Compliance Admor Annexation <br />Petition. <br />ORIGINATING DEPARTMENT: PLANNING DEPARTMENT <br />SUMMARY: <br />Under the terms of a purchase agreement executed in June of 1996 with Boulder County the City is initiating <br />annexation of the Admor property. <br />The property contains a total of 80.558 acres and is located at the southwest quadrant of the intersection of <br />Dillon Road and So. 96th Street. The portion of the property located west of the Goodhue Ditch contains <br />33.738 acres. The balance of the property, including the Goodhue Ditch, contains approximately 46.820 <br />acres. This property east of the ditch will be used for open space purposes. <br />The attached petition has been signed by both Mayor Davidson and Commissioner Stewart, and proposes <br />annexation of the entire 80.558 acres. The zoning ordinance will be forwarded to Council through the <br />Planning Commission within 90 days of property annexation. <br />RECOMMENDATION: If City Council desires to approve the resolution of substantial compliance for the <br />Admor Annexation, ACCEPT A MOTION TO APPROVE RESOLUTION NO. 1, SERIES 1997. <br />SUBJECT AGENDA ITEM <br />Resolution No. 1, Series 1997 <br />Admor Annexation <br />6B <br />
