ORDINANCE NO. 1248 <br />SERIES 1997 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2.32 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE <br />TO INCREASE THE SALARY OF THE MUNICIPAL JUDGE. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Louisville is <br />authorized by C.R.S. §13 -10- 107(1) to provide by ordinance for the <br />salary of the municipal judge; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council believes the municipal judge should <br />be compensated at the rate of $15,600 a year. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />Section 1. Section 2.32.050 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code is hereby amended to read as follows (words deleted are <br />stricken through; words added are underlined): <br />ATTEST: <br />2.32.050 Salary. <br />The municipal judge shall receive as full <br />compensation for the judge's services a yearly salary of <br />fourtccn fifteen thousand four six hundred dollars, <br />payable on a monthly basis of one thousand two three <br />hundred dollars, effective January 1, 19974. <br />Section 2. The City Council herewith finds, determines, <br />and declares that this Ordinance is necessary for the preservation <br />of the public health and safety. <br />Section 3. All other ordinances or portions thereof <br />inconsistent or conflicting with this ordinance or any portion <br />hereof are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency or <br />conflict. <br />INTRODUCED, READ, PASSED ON FIRST READING, AND ORDERED <br />PUBLISHED this day of 1997. <br />Dave Clabots, City Clerk <br />1 <br />Tom Davidson, Mayor <br />
