The number of parking spaces had <br />been increased from 276 to 316 spaces. The finish floor elevation is 6.5' higher than the elevation of <br />Century Place and approximately 1.5' to 2' lower than Century Drive to the north. <br />Davidson called for the applicant's presentation. <br />Ken Harshman, M +O +A Architectural Partnership, gave a brief overview of the project. 1; <br />Davidson called for Council comments. <br />Lathrop wanted to know why they went from three stories to two stories. <br />Harshman stated that after a market study they found that with the building costs and the rent that <br />they would have to generate to justify that was not feasible. They are also looking at some alternative <br />ideas for breaking the retaining wall into two components so it is not in a single step.
