Tom Phare, Public Works Director, explained that this resolution provided for temporary use of CBT <br />water and authorizes the Mayor to sign temporary use permits for Norther Colorado Water <br />Conservancy District units. <br />Howard moved that Council adopt Resolution No. 20, Series 1997, authorizing temporary use <br />contracts for NCWCD for CBT water, seconded by Sisk. All in favor. <br />ACQUISITION OF COLORADO BIG THOMPSON (CBT) WATER UNITS <br />Tom Phare, Public Works Director, recommended some CBT acquisition and presented contracts to <br />Council. Adoption of the resolution would allow for immediate use of the CBT units acquired in the <br />future. <br />Davidson called for Council comments, questions, or motions. <br />Sisk moved that Council approve the five contracts submitted with authorization for the Mayor and <br />City Clerk to sign the contract documents on behalf of the City of Louisville, seconded by Mayer. <br />Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 7 0 vote. j* <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />NONE <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br />Bill Simmons, City Administrator, reminded Council that March 20 would be the Grand Re- opening <br />of the Louisville Arts Center at 7 p.m. There will be h� Work Session next week. At the April 8 <br />Work Session there will be a report from the committee on the Harney Lastoka property. There will <br />be discussion about the landscaping of the median on McCaslin Boulevard from Via Appia to South <br />Boulder Road.
