It has been his practice to assist people in establishing dispensaries and counsels clients to provide safe, clean access to marijuana products and to fully comply with the law. Tyler Lantzy, 595 St. Andrews Lane, Louisville, CO stated he operates an audio /visual business in Louisville. He opposed the moratorium and asked if the substance under discussion was called something other than marijuana, would Council even consider a moratorium. He asked if the moratorium was in effect a moral judgment against the community. Laura Kriho, Cannabis Therapy Institute, 3500 Hayden Place, Boulder, CO sent a report to Council on the economic development of medical cannabis in Colorado and a draft ordinance. She stated it is a constitutional right for Colorado residents. She outlined the history of cannabis and the medical use of marijuana and stated her group is encouraging people to embrace the use of medical marijuana dispensaries.• She supported a medical cannabis research business center and reminded Council this is a medical health issue. Jason Lauve, 317 Grouse Court, Louisville, CO explained he was recently acquitted of illegal medical marijuana possession in the Boulder County Court. He is a medical marijuana user and felt the moratorium is discriminatory. He explained the current dispensaries cannot keep up with the demand. He requires consistency and a quality of product that will work for him. ,r. Jeremy DePinto, 1162 Cedar Street, Broomfield, CO stated safe access to medical marijuana is the issue at hand. Dispensaries provide a safe and legal environment for patients to get their medical marijuana. He stated dispensaries provide a safe environment to get natural medicine and noted there are no side effects with medical marijuana. Patrick Richmond, Compassionate Pain Management, 1116 Dillon Road, Unit 7, Louisville, CO; home address: 2132 Utica Street, Denver, CO. He explained his company has not received its certificate of occupancy. He cares about the medical marijuana patients and wants to give them the proper medication at a price they can afford. His company is not just a medical marijuana dispensary it is a holistic healing center, which provides a safe haven for medical marijuana users. The goal is to help people with alternatives to traditional medicines. Eva Kosinski, 1301 Jackson Court, Louisville, CO reported knowing a medical marijuana patient. This person is embarrassed about using medical marijuana, but had bad experiences with the side effects with traditional pharmaceuticals.
