CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br /> <br />Bill Simmons, City Administrator, reminded Council of the January 14 Work Session. The City is <br />in the process of confirming the attendance of Louisville's State Representative and State Senator <br />to discuss legislative matters. Simmons had been in discussions with a firm wishing to relocate in the <br />Colorado Tech Center. At their request Simmons had been working with the state and other people <br />to look at the possibility of doing an inducement resolution for industrial development revenue <br />bonds/private activity bonds. The inducement resolution had been drafted, which the City Attorney <br />needed to review, and staff needed to have discussions with bond counsel. He requested that Council <br />schedule a Special Council meeting on January 14 to act on that resolution so that the application <br />could be submitted by the January 15 deadline. <br /> <br />Sisk asked who would bear the expense of bond counsel and City Attorney's review. <br /> <br />Simmons stated that bond counsel is at the expense of the applicant He did not yet know about the <br />City's counsel. <br /> <br />Sisk wanted it as no liability and no expense to the City. <br /> <br />Davidson moved that Council have a special meeting on January 14, seconded by Howard. All in <br />favor. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Davidson had received a letter from the President of Storage Tech on the Northwest Parkway. He <br />would be contacting them for a meeting. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Sisk moved that Council adjourn (8:40 p.m.), seconded by Mayer.
