ORDINANCE NO. 1382 Series 2002 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 32 OF CHAPTER 13 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING SEWER USE REGULATIONS. WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that Article 32 of Chapter 13 of the Louisville Municipal Code concerning sewer use and industrial pretreatment is in need of updating and amendment in order to conform to changing federal regulation; and WHEREAS, such changes will result in a more effective and comprehensive regulation of sewer usage and industrial pretreatment; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the changes set forth herein will help the speed the enforcement of violations so as to stop reoccurring violations; and WHEREAS, this ordinance is needed to protect the integrity of the City's wastewater treatment facilities, its associated structures and the receiving stream; and WHEREAS, this ordinance is needed for the preservation of the health and safety of the community. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: Section 13.32.020. Definitions are repealed and reenacted with amendments; new definitions are added. All numbers following the alphabetical placement of the definitions are correspondingly renumbered, as follows: Act or the Act mean the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, also known as the Clean Water Act, as amended, g 33 U.S.C. 1251 et seq.
