If you were unable to commit to a
meeting at this time, please contact Mandy to let her know which meeting
you would like to attend.
IX. Further goal setting discussion concerning the upcoming term
How can we spread the word about YAB?
Sam- if we had an activity that was just YAB on a regular basis we could
become more recognizable.
Kriska- Suggested a Twitter feed or Facebook account for YAB
Sam- People really need to see us doing stuff, not just talking about it.
Also, collaboration with other groups to do events that directly
benefit the youth of LSV, that would help.
Katy- we need to make a good close contact with someone on the
newspaper for more exposure. Katy will try to make this contact.
Daisy- over 50% of people her age want to do something eco-friendly, so
she thinks we should really focus on that
Sam- Dark City Project- should we continue to focus on that? (she then
explained a little about the Dark City problem and project)
*We need to contact the city planning office and invite someone to attend
our next meeting.
We did vote to have snacks/drinks our meetings- passed around a sign-up
sheet for the year.
Month: Snacks Beverages
November
Sam Webster Kendall Webster
December
Bonnie Schrag Nicole Polglaze
January
Daisy Fuchs ???
February Brooke ???
March
Leslie Dong Antonio Lin
April
Katy Brown ???
X.
