The letter spoke of Tim Pate of the Building Department going out of his way to assist the reconstruction of the Outback. Tim's knowledge of the Codes, guidance, and time sacrificed were extremely appreciated. Tim even went the extra mile to provide inspections on the 4th of July and the ensuing weekend to keep the project moving. Mr. Flanagan stated in his letter that he had built 11 Outback Steakhouses in various cities in Colorado and by far the City of Louisville's Building Department had been the most fun, knowledgeable, and cooperative. He also thanked Fire Marshal.Bill Dhieux and the Louisville Police Department for their valued assistance. Davidson reported that at 4 p.m. today the City officially signed the agreement with Superior relating to the Biella/Menkick property to do revenue sharing with the Town of Superior. This now goes to the voters in Louisville and Superior. Basically, Louisville is deannexing land that is on the Superior side of the road. In return, Superior is going to annex the land and share the sales tax with Louisville. Louisville is going to contribute its share of the sales tax to the improvement of the U.S. 36/McCaslin interchange. REGULAR BUSINESS PRESENTATION JANUARY 1 JUNE 30, 1997 CRIME STATISTICS POLICE DEPARTMENT ACTIVITY POLICE CHIEF Bruce Goodman, Chief of Police, reviewed the year to date uniform report statistics. On the whole he reported the officers are doing a great job and Council has a police department to be proud of. 2
