Davidson opened the public hearing and called for anyone wishing to speak on the 1998 Budget. <br />NONE <br />Davidson) closed the public hearing and called for Council comments or questions. <br />Davidson stated that in his eight years on Council this is by far the easiest budgeting process he has <br />ever gone through. <br />Lathrop hoped Council could reduce the Mill Levy next year. Two of the expenditures he was <br />pleased with were: over half of the $2.3 million in the Public Works Budget would be for street <br />repair and the expenditures to the Police Department for the safety of our citizens with the high <br />caliber of the police officers. <br />ADOPTION OF 1998 BUDGET <br />RESOLUTION NO. 51, SERIES 1997 SUMMARIZING EXPENDITURES AND <br />REVENUES FOR EACH FUND AND ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR BEGINNING ON THE <br />FIRST DAY OF JANUARY, 1998 AND ENDING AND ENDING ON THE LAST DAY <br />OF DECEMBER, 1998 <br />Simmons asked that in adopting this resolution, the corrected page 110 and 111 be included as part <br />of that. <br />Davidson called for Council comments or motions. <br />Sisk moved that Council adopt Resolution No. 51, Series 1997, adopting the 1998 Budget, seconded <br />by Sisk. Roll call was taken. Roll call was taken.
