ORDINANCE NO. 1377 <br />SERIES 2002 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE TIME LIMIT ON APPROVALS OF CERTAIN <br />FINAL DEVELOPMENT PLANS FOR COMMERCIAL PLANNED UNIT <br />DEVELOPMENTS WITHIN DOWNTOWN LOUISVILLE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 1285, Series 1998, the City adopted time limits on the <br />development of commercial planned unit developments (PUDs); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 1287, Series 1998, and Ordinance No. 1341, Series 2000, <br />the City established new off-street parking requirements for Downtown Louisville, as defined in <br />Chapter 17.08 of the Louisville Municipal Code, and provided that such parking requirements may <br />be met in whole or part by payment of a parking improvement fee; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 1376, Series 2002, the City amended the off-street parking <br />requirements for Downtown Louisville and adjusted the amount of the parking improvement fee; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHERERAS, the City has previously approved certain final development plans for <br />commercial PUDs for properties within Downtown Louisville; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, certain of those previously approved PUDs expire in 2002 pursuant to the <br />regulations enacted in Ordinance No. 1285, Series 1998, and codified in Section 17.28.200.E of the <br />Louisville Municipal Code; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that the development of those PUDs <br />has been postponed in part because of the ongoing review of the parking improvement fee, which <br />review resulted in the enactment of Ordinance No. 1376, Series 2002; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council therefore finds it is appropriate to extend the expiration date <br />for certain previously-approved commercial PUDs within Downtown Louisville. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> <br /> ~. The City hereby extends for a period of three years the expiration date of any <br />approved final development plan for a commercial PUD upon property within Downtown <br />Louisville if such plan would otherwise expire in 2002 under the provisions of Section 17.28.200.E <br />of the Louisville Municipal Code. <br /> <br /> <br />
