<br />903.2.2 Group B. An automatic sprinkler system shall be provided for Group B occupancies <br />where the fire area exceeds 5,000 square feet. <br /> <br />C. Section 903.2.3 of the 2009 International Fire Code is amended as follows: <br /> <br />903.2.3 Group E. 1. The number is changed from 12,000 to 5,000 square feet. <br /> <br />D. These amendments set forth in this section are applicable only to new construction. <br /> <br />Sec. 15.12.160. Chapter 15.16 of the Louisville Municipal Code IS hereby repealed and <br />reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 15.16.010. Adoption. <br /> <br />The International Plumbing Code, 2009 Edition, published by the International Code <br />Council, 4051 West Flossmoor Road, Country Club Hills, Illinois, 60478-5795, is adopted by <br />reference thereto and incorporated into and made part of this Code. The purpose and subject <br />matter of the International Plumbing Code (also referred to as the IPC) include comprehensive <br />provisions regulating plumbing installations in or in connection with new and existing structures <br />and providing international plumbing standards for the purpose of protecting the public health, <br />safety and general welfare. <br /> <br />Sec. 15.16.020 Amendments. <br /> <br />The following amendments set forth in sections 15.16.030 through 15.16.130 are made to <br />the 2009 International Plumbing Code. <br /> <br />Sec. 15.16.030 Section PI01.1--Title. <br /> <br />Section PI 0 1.1 of the 2009 hltemational Plumbing Code is amended to insert "the City of <br />Louisville" so the section will read: <br /> <br />PI 0 1.1 Title. These regulations shall be known as the Plumbing Code of the City of Louisville, <br />hereinafter referred to as "this code." <br /> <br />15 <br />
