Section 903.2.3 of the 2009 International Fire Code is amended as follows: 903.2.3 Group E. 1. The number is changed from 12,000 to 5,000 square feet. D. These amendments set forth in this section are applicable only to new construction. Sec. 15.12.160. Standards of Rderence. Chapter 15.16 of the Louisville Municipal Code IS hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows: Sec. 15.16.010. Adoption. The International Plumbing Code, 2009 Edition, published by the International Code Council, 4051 West Flossmoor Road, Country Club Hills, Illinois, 60478-5795, is adopted by reference thereto and incorporated into and made part of this Code. The purpose and subject matter of the International Plumbing Code (also referred to as the IPC) include comprehensive provisions regulating plumbing installations in or in connection with new and existing structures and providing international plumbing standards for the purpose of protecting the public health, safety and general welfare. Sec. 15.16.020 Amendments. The following amendments set forth in sections 15.16.030 through 15.16.130 are made to the 2009 International Plumbing Code. Sec. 15.16.030 Section PI01.1--Title. Section PI 0 1.1 of the 2009 hltemational Plumbing Code is amended to insert "the City of Louisville" so the section will read: PI 0 1.1 Title. These regulations shall be known as the Plumbing Code of the City of Louisville, hereinafter referred to as "this code." 15
