P3103.1. Roof extension. All open vent pipes which extend through a roof shall be terminated at <br />least 6 inches above the roof or 6 inches above the anticipated snow accumulation, except that <br />where a roof is to be used for any purpose other than weather protection, the vent extensions <br />shall be run at least 7 feet (2134 mm) above the roof. <br />Section 15.05.090. Section R2904 deleted. <br />Section R2904 Residential Fire Sprinklers of the 2009 International Residential Code is deleted. <br />Sec. 15.05.100. Copies available. <br /> At least one copy of the International Residential Code and one copy of each secondary <br />code pertaining thereto, as amended herein, all certified to be true and accurate, shall be available <br />for public inspection at the office of the Building Safety Division between the hours of 8:00 a.m. <br />and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, holidays excepted. The city clerk shall at all times <br />maintain a reasonable supply of copies of the code available for purchase by the public at a <br />moderate price. <br />Sec. 15.05.110. Violations and penalties. <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to erect, construct, enlarge, alter, <br />repair, move, improve, remove, convert or demolish, equip, use, occupy or maintain any building <br />or structure or cause or permit the work to be done, in violation of the provisions of this chapter <br />or the terms of the code or standards adopted and incorporated in this chapter. Any person <br />convicted of a violation of any provision of this chapter or of the provisions of the code or <br />standards adopted and incorporated in this chapter shall be subject to the penalty provided in <br />section 1.28.010. <br />Sec. 15.05.120. Fireplace installation. <br />A. Any new or remodeled fireplace to be installed or constructed in any dwelling in the city <br />shall be one of the following: <br /> 1. A gas appliance; <br /> 2. An electric device; or <br /> 3. A fireplace or fireplace insert that meets the most stringent emissions standards for <br />wood stoves established by the air quality control commission, created by C.R.S. § 25-7- <br />104, or any other clean burning device that is approved by the air quality control <br />commission. <br />B. It is unlawful for any person to install or construct any new or remodeled fireplace which <br />does not comply with this section. Any person violating this section shall be subject to <br />the penalty provided in section 1.28.010. <br /> 7 <br /> <br />
