A.All solid wood fences four feet to six feet in height shall have one four by four wood <br />post, or equivalent, every 30 square feet of fence area. <br />B.For fences four feet to five feet in height, two horizontal stiffeners are required. The <br />lower stiffeners shall be within 12 inches to ground level and the upper stiffeners shall be <br />12 inches to the top of the posts. <br />C.For fences over five feet in height, three horizontal stiffeners shall be required, equally <br />spaced from ground level to the top of the fence. <br />D.All posts for fences of four feet to six feet in height shall be set in concrete at a depth of <br />not less than 1 1/2 feet into the ground. Diameter of the concrete required under this <br />section shall not be less than eight inches. <br />E.All fences constructed under this standard must be kept in good repair. <br />Section 10. <br /> Chapter 15.36 of the Louisville Municipal Code, entitled Uniform Code for <br />Building Conservation, is hereby repealed in its entirety. <br />Section 11. <br /> Chapter 15.40 of the Louisville Municipal code, entitled Uniform Solar <br />Energy Code, is hereby repealed in its entirety. <br />Section 12. <br /> Chapter 15.44 of the Louisville Municipal Code, entitled Uniform <br />Swimming Pool, Spa and Hot Tub Code of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby repealed in <br />its entirety. <br />Section 13. <br /> Chapter 15.48 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby repealed and <br />reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows: <br />Sec. 15.48.010. Adoption. <br /> Pursuant to C.R.S. Title 31, Article 16, as amended: <br /> The National Electrical Code, 2008 Edition, published by the National Fire Protection <br />Association, 1 Batterymarch Park, P.O. Box 9101, Quincy, MA 02269-9101, is adopted by <br />reference thereto and incorporated into and made a part of the Louisville Municipal Code. The <br />purpose and subject matter of the National Electrical Code include minimum regulations for the <br />practical safeguarding of persons and property from the hazards arising from the use of <br />electricity and minimum standards relating to the installation of electrical conductors and <br />equipment within or on public and private buildings and other structures, including mobile <br />homes, recreational vehicles, and floating dwelling units, and other premises such as yards, <br />carnivals, parking and other lots, and industrial substations. <br /> 18 <br /> <br />
