<br />RESOLUTION NO. 44 <br />SERIES 2009 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING BUILDING PERMIT FEES AND OTHER FEES FOR <br />PERMITS, INSPECTIONS, WORK, OR SERVICES UNDER OR PURSUANT TO <br />THE INTERNATIONAL CODES AND NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE SET <br />FORTH IN TITLE 15 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, various provisions of Title 15 of the Louisville Municipal Code <br />provide that fees for permits, inspections, work, or services under Title 15 of the <br />Louisville Municipal Code shall be paid in accordance to a fee schedule adopted by <br />City Council resolution, as may be amended from time to time; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to set, by resolution, the amounts of <br />fees associated with the implementation of the International Codes and the National <br />Electrical Code" <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> <br />Section 1. The Building Safety Division Valuation Table, establishing <br />minimum value of permitted construction associated with the International Codes <br />and the National Electrical Code set forth in Title 15 of the Louisville Municipal Code, <br />is hereby adopted and shall be as set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and <br />incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. The Building Safety Division Fee Schedule, establishing fees <br />associated with the International Codes and the National Electrical Code set forth in <br />Title 15 of the Louisville Municipal Code, is hereby adopted and shall be as set forth <br />in Exhibit B, attached hereto and incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />Section 3. In accordance with C.RS. S 31-15-602(4)(b), permit fees to <br />install an active solar energy device or system shall be based on The Building <br />Safety Division Fee Schedule except that in no event shall permit fees, in aggregate, <br />be in excess of the lesser of the amount determined by using the foregoing fee <br />schedule or five hundred dollars ($500.00) for a residential application or one <br />thousand dollars ($1,000.00) for a nonresidential application. The foregoing limit on <br />permit fees shall not apply to applications to install utility-scale active solar energy <br />devices or systems. In accordance with C.RS. S 31-15-602(4)(b)(II), this section 3 is <br />repealed effective July 1,2011 unless the permit fee limitations set forth in C.RS. S <br />31-15-602(4)(b)(l) are further extended by the Colorado Legislature. <br /> <br />Section 4. The fees adopted pursuant to this Resolution shall take effect <br />January 12, 2010. <br /> <br />1 <br />
