Sisk offered a friendly amendment that the notes on the PUD be consistent, subject to staff review
and City Attorney's review with the applicant, so as to remove some inconsistencies, specifically
with regard to eight and nine and the median.

Mayer and seconder Levihn accepted.

Sisk offered an unfriendly amendment that he wanted condition No. 6, replacing vinyl siding and
shingles with higher quality wood, added back into the resolution.

Howard seconded the unfriendly amendment.

Howard explained that this project is on McCaslin Boulevard, directly visible by a large percentage
of the population of the City, as opposed to behind a structure. Council has made a concerted effort
to upgrade the McCaslin Corridor projects, being Louisville's primary entry point.

Keany questioned whether people driving by would ever be able to tell, with the 120' setback, that
it is vinyl siding.

Roll call was taken on Sisk's unfriendly amendment. Motion passed by a 4 - 2 vote with Keany and
Levihn voting against and Lathrop being absent.

Davidson called for a roll call on Resolution No. 9, as amended. Roll call was taken. Motion passed
by a 6 - 0 vote with Lathrop being absent.

DISCUSSION/DIRECTION - PRELIMINARY PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR A
RESTAURANT ON LOT 9A, CENTURY OFFICE PARK - MCCASLIN BLVD.

Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated Century Office Park is proposing a 5,800 sq. ft. full-service
restaurant. Lot 9A was designated as a full-service restaurant site. The parking requirement has
been met. The approved elevations required pitched roofs with prominent overhangs and brick and
siding as primary building materials. The landscaping proposal for the site would require a
substantial increase in material quantities to comply, with more species from the approved list
incorporated into the plan and perennials substantially increased. More signage details are needed.
Staff suggested that it be similar in design to that approved for Lot 10A.

Davidson called for the applicant's presentation.

Yu Chieh (David) Fan, 2850 East Aurora Avenue, Boulder, Colorado, stated that this would be a
family- owned Chinese restaurant with a full-service bar. He was there to answer any questions.

Kevin Karis, 7687 Elwood Street, Littleton, Colorado 80125, architect for the project, stated that
they lessened the height of the brick wall and its impact, added glazing at the entry, added plant
material to the site, and are willing to modify the signs to come into compliance.
