President's Report - Julie <br />Carol and Jim have finished their term on the LCC and will not return. <br /> <br />Young Writers needs an LCC organizer to work with librarian Denise <br />Brooks. Farren volunteered. <br /> <br />An end-of-the-year report is needed for SCFD, due in February, and <br />Susan volunteered to complete it. <br /> <br />Thanks expressed to all members and especially Frost for representing <br />LCC at Council meetings and to Julie S. and Kathy. <br /> <br />VIII. Treasurer's Report/Correspondence - Jiml Susan <br /> <br />Lynn Wooton moved to elect a new treasurer, Jim seconded, and the <br />motion passed. <br /> <br />Susan volunteered to act as Treasurer, all present were in favor, and Jim <br />handed off art center key. <br /> <br />Jim described Event Reports helps to estimate outlay for 2010. Looks like <br />$19,730 for 2010 net operating expenses and all events. Members <br />discuss using $5,000 as in the past, for Concerts in the Park and <br />Treasurer. <br /> <br />IX. City Staff Update - Kathy and Julie S. <br /> <br />Coal Creek Crossing event was very successful and a new cleaning <br />company will be cleaning the art center. Members discussed art center <br />facility use. <br /> <br />X. City Council Update - Frost <br /> <br />XI. Art in the Park - Maryan <br /> <br />Maryan has concrete pads but needs to know installation costs and <br />pedestals for smaller art, plaques, etc. The event may need to use fewer <br />sculptures (5 rather than 6), and artists may need to pay for pedestals. <br />Then, Art in the Park may be able to run within budget for 2 years, though <br />installation costs are unknown. <br />
