<br />Local Licensing Authority <br />Minutes <br />January 26, 2009 <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />LLC d/b/a as Centennial VVine and Spirits along with the Tastings Permit <br />Application renewal be approved. Lipton seconded. Roll Call Vote: Mulvahill- <br />yes, Lipton - yes, Romme:lfanger - yes and Gunning - yes. <br /> <br />Ashley Owen introduced herself and husband Drew to the Authority. Her <br />parents, Bruce and Lindi Carmichael, were owners of Centennial and she and <br />Drew are the new owners. Members of the Authority welcomed them as the new <br />owners and encouraged them to keep up the good work. Sergeant Lanphere <br />commented Ashley and Drew have always been supportive of police department <br />efforts and appreciate all they do at the establishment. <br /> <br />C. 2008 Annual Report <br /> <br />Lipton moved the Authority approve the 2008 Annual Report and forward it to <br />City Council. Mulvahill seconded. Roll Call Vote: Rommelfanger - yes, Lipton - <br />yes, Mulvahill - yes and Gunning - yes. <br /> <br />Police Department Repclrts <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Secretary's Report <br /> <br />Hanson noted the November seller/server training attendance. She thanked the <br />police department for their continued effort in holding these classes. Hanson <br />reported in addition to the meeting dates included in the packet, the Authority is <br />tentatively scheduled to meet in a study session with Council on July 14. She <br />noted the Open Government and Ethics Pamphlet was included in the Authority <br />packet, as the members are required to receive it at the first meeting of the year. <br />Hanson included a communication to Council concerning work plans for boards <br />and commissions and asked Authority members to consider any items they might <br />want to work on outside the normal workload the Authority faces each month. <br /> <br />Authority Attorney's Report <br /> <br />Attorney Light wished all a Happy New Year, but did not have anything to report. <br /> <br />Authority Comment <br /> <br />Rommelfanger thanked the members of the Authority for the opportunity to work <br />with them and also thank,ed City Attorney Sam Light and his staff and Sergeant <br />Lanphere and the police staff for the great job done. <br /> <br />Adjourn - Rommelfanger moved to adjourn. Lipton seconded. All in favor. The <br />meeting was adjourned at 7: 13 p.m. <br />
