Orders must be in by the 18th of February.

VIII. Volunteer Activities- report on past functions and plan future opportunities

. December- Dessert and Story Time with Santa

We all agree that the kids were so cute and amazing. Mandy says thank you, thank
you, thank you for all our support.
Hannah was told "Aren't you a little tall to be an elf?"

. January- cookies and visit with senior citizens

Balfor has been either great or awkward. Meals on Wheels provides meals for
those who can't get their own. We can decorate the bags and make cookies for them.
MLK day would be the day to deliver them to Meals on Wheels. 65 cookies total 24 of
those diabetic friendly.

We will need a couple of volunteers to bake cookies: Hannah, Sam, Bonnie, and
Katy will make regular cookies; Daisy and Joi will make diabetic cookies. We will need to
have the cookies to the recreation center at 10am on MLK day.

Mandy suggested a few of us staying after bag decorating to sell daffodils at the
recreation center. Kriska suggested making more cookies to give out to each person who
orders daffodils.

. Discuss other city boards and commissions
. Joi went to the planning commission, they were discussing parking laws and how
much parking is entitled to business owners.
. Lesley went to the licensing board, a new restaurant is opening and the owner was
telling why he wanted his license.

X. Further goal setting discussion concerning the upcoming term
a. Bus schedule around Monarch

. Lesley met with a RTD representative who told Lesley that she will talk
to her supervisor in hope that they will adjust the schedule.

. What else can we do? Perhaps contact someone with RTD to ask.

b. Awards for good youth citizens

. The board has decided that it is a bit more than we can chew right now.
