RESOLUTION NO. 1 <br />SERIES 2000 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR <br />ROBERT LATHROP'S FAITHFUL SERVICE TO THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Robert Lathrop served the City of Louisville as a member of the Planning <br />Commission from January 1990 to January 1992, and as a member of City Council from January <br />1992 to January 2000; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Robert Lathrop's services on the Planning Commission resulted in the orderly <br />growth and continued prosperity of the City of Louisville; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Robert Lathrop's expertise and business acumen during his tenure on the City <br />Council Finance Committee from January 1996 to January 2000 contributed to the long-term <br />financial soundness of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Robert Lathrop was instrumental in acquiring over 380 acres of land for open <br />space and preservation, a significant contribution to the enhancement of the quality of life of the <br />citizens of the City of Louisville. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Robert Lathrop brought his insights as a small business owner and operator to <br />the governance of the City of Louisville. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO that Robert Lathrop be declared an Honorary Citizen of the <br />City of Louisville for now and forever more. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of January, 2000. <br /> <br /> Tom DaY'son, Mayor <br /> <br />Dave Clabots, City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
