Economic Development Director Star stated she sends the <br />information to local realtors, if it is appropriate and explained unless a local <br />realtor is a partner they would not receive the information from Denver Metro <br />Brokers. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE No. 1563, SERIES 2009 - AN ORDINANCE REGARDING <br />POWERS AND DUTIES OF THE LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES AND <br />BYLAWS REVISIONS FOR THE LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES. Public <br />Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Light introduced Ordinance No. 1563, Series 2009. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested opened the public hearing and requested a Staff <br />presentation. <br /> <br />Library Director Barrett explained Ordinance No. 1563, Series 2009 proposes <br />changes to the Library Board of Trustees and the revisions to the bylaws. She <br />recognized Eileen Patrick, President of the Library Board of Trustees for her work <br />on the ordinance. <br /> <br />Library Director Barrett explained in May of 2009, Council amended the Louisville <br />Municipal Code with the adoption of Ordinance No. 1549, Series 2009, which <br />appointed a member of the Superior Town Board to serve on the Louisville <br />Library Board of Trustees. The Library Board members also revised their bylaws <br />to reflect changes. She noted the Library Board of Trustees is an advisory board <br />to the City Council. The Library Board of Trustees and staff reviewed and revised <br />the wording of the proposed ordinance. Changes included the following: <br /> <br />· Retaining the designation of "Trustee". <br />· Delete the wording related to Colorado governing boards for libraries. <br />· Adding four primary areas of activity for the Library Board of Trustees, <br />corresponding with the tasks the Board performs. <br /> <br />She stated the first reading of the ordinance contained an error, which noted the <br />second reading of the ordinance would be January 5, 2009. Council received a <br />corrected copy of the ordinancls. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />
