City Council Meeting Minutes February 2,2010 Page 8 of 8 MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved Ordinance No. 1565, Series 2010 be approved on first reading, ordered it published and set a public hearing for February 16, 2010, seconded by Councilor Sack,ett. All in favor. ORDINANCE No. 1566, SERIES 2010, AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A LOAN FROM THE WATER AND WASTEWATER UTILITY FUND TO THE GOLF COURSE FUND FOR: FISCAL YEAR 2010 - 1 ST READING - Set Public Hearing 02/16/10 Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. City Attorney Light introduced Ordinance No. 1566, Series 2010. MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved Ordinance No. 1566, Series 2010 be approved on first reading, ordered it published and set a public hearing for February 16, 2010, seconded by Councilor Sackett. The vote was 6-1. Councilor Muckle voted no. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT City Attorney Light reminded Council of an open government training opportunity. A training session on Ethics will be held Wednesday, February 3, in the City Council Chambers at 7:00 p.m. Special Counsel Scottie Krob will facilitate the training session. COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS Councilor Clabots reminded everyone the annual Heat Relief benefit is at the Recreation Center, scheduled for Thursday, February 18, 2010, 5:00 p.m. The Blue Parrot Restaurant will cater the event and there will be a silent auction to raise funds to provide heat relief for senior citizens.
