City Council Finance Committee Meeting Minutes 01 /19/2010 Page 3 of 4 The Finance Director presented the Finance Committee with a summary of the RFP procurement process, the proposers, and the related fees and services. The Evaluation Committee unanimously recommended the award of bid to Davidson Fixed Income Management. The Finance Committee approved the award of bid to Davidson Fixed Income Management. RFP FOR SALES & USE TAX COMPLIANCE AND AUDIT SERVICES The Finance Director reviewed the history of the RFP and the original intent for it to be issued jointly with the City of Lafayette. Based on certain complexities and timing issues for the City of Lafayette, the City of Louisville proceeded on its own and amended the RFP to present in draft form to the Committee. The Committee stated that the timing to consider contract auditing services was not good noting the economic climate and all members unanimously agreed that such RFP be tabled for 2-3 years. SALES TAX REPORT FOR THE PERIOD ENDED NOVEMBER 30, 2009 The Tax Manager presented the November 30, 2009 Sales Tax Report. REVENUE TREND DASHBOARD -JANUARY 19, 2010 PROJECTIONS The Finance Director presented current trend analysis and projections for various revenue sources summarized in a revenue trend "dashboard" report. SCHEDULE OF CASH & INVESTMENTS AS OF DECEMBER 31, 2009 The Finance Director presented the Schedule of Cash & Investments as of December 31, 2009.
