City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />February 16, 2010 <br />Page 11 of 15 <br />customer service. City Manager Fleming stated the proposed hold on the two <br />Agenda items could be brought back on March 2, 2010. <br />Mayor Sisk requested Mr. Jensen and Mr. Health be available to make a WGP <br />presentation on March 2, 2010. <br />City Manager Fleming asked City Attorney Light how Staff should proceed in light <br />of the contract expiration on March 1, 2010. City Attorney suggested the Mayor <br />or City Manager be authorized to request a hold on the contract’s expiration for a <br />period of one month. <br />Councilor Sackett and Mayor Pro Tem Marsella agreed to lay the motion on the <br />table over until March 2, 2010 meeting. <br />City Attorney Light suggested the Mayor or City Manager execute an extension <br />of the current contract with WGP. <br />The Council discussed the option of extending the current agreement by one <br />month and laying Councilor Sackett’s motion over until the March 2, 2010 <br />meeting. <br />MOTION: Councilor Dalton moved to continue the discussions to March 2, 2010, <br />seconded by Councilor Clabots. All in favor. Absent: Councilor Muckle. <br />MOTION: Councilor Dalton moved to authorize the Mayor or City Manager <br />Fleming to negotiate a 30-day extension to April 1, 2010 on the WGP agreement, <br />seconded by Councilor Sackett. All in favor. Absent: Councilor Muckle. <br />ORDINANCE No. 1565, SERIES 2010, AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING <br /> A LOAN FROM THE WATER AND WASTEWATER UTILITY FUND TO THE <br />GOLF COURSE FUND FOR FISCAL YEAR 2009 – <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br />City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1565 Ordinance, Series 2010. <br />Mayor Sisk opened the public hearing and requested a Staff presentation. <br />Finance Director Watson explained Ordinance No. 1565, Series 2010 is not <br />related to the golf course agreement.This loan was approved as part of the <br />2010 budget. It authorized a loan of $320,000 from the Water and Wastewater <br />Utility Fund would be transferred to the Golf Course for a 2009 deficit. <br />îë <br /> <br />
