Planning Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />JANUARY 14, 2010 <br />Page 4 of 6 <br /> <br />The site is an existing office building located at 315 South Boulder <br /> <br /> <br />Road. <br />The application is for a series of roof mounted antennae. <br /> <br /> <br />The height of the existing building is 26’6”, the overall height of the <br /> <br /> <br />mounted antennae is approximately 32’, which is less than the <br />maximum building height allowed of 35’. <br />Planning Commission approved on November 13, 2008 an SRU for <br /> <br /> <br />AT&T to place roof mounted antennae on the northeast and southwest <br />facades on the same building. <br />Clearwire will be placing their antennae on the northwest and <br /> <br /> <br />southeast corners and the screening of the roof top mechanical <br />equipment will be with the same parapet design as the 2008 <br />application. <br />McCartney stated the application met all the special review use criteria and <br />recommended approval of the SRU with one condition: the SRU is granted to the <br />applicant only. <br />Commission Questions: <br />Loo asked if anyone had expressed any health concerns as was expressed with <br />the previous applicant. <br />McCartney stated the department had not received any comments regarding the <br />application. He confirmed the applicant had submitted the required affidavit that <br />they are in compliance with the Health and Safety Standards as established by <br />the industry. <br />Pritchard asked for a clarification of the condition. <br />McCartney stated the condition is specific to any SRU. <br />Applicant Presentation: <br />Victor McAlister, representing Clear Wireless, LLC stated the staff had provided <br />an excellent overview of the request and his agreement with the condition. He <br />stated he would answer the Commissioners questions. <br />Members of the Public: <br />None heard. <br />Staff Summary and Recommendation: <br />McCartney requested approval of Resolution No. 2, Series 2010 with one <br />condition. <br />Public Hearing Closed Commission Comments: <br />Pritchard asked for Planning Commission Comments. <br />Sheets stated her support of the application. <br />Pritchard, Brauneis, Loo, and Russell indicated their support. <br />Loo moved and Sheets seconded a motion to approve Resolution No. 2, Series <br />2010 a resolution recommending approval of a special review use to erect and <br /> <br />
