City Council Finance Committee Meeting Minutes 02/16/2010 Page 3 of 3 The Finance Director informed the Committee that Standard & Poor's Corporation removed the credit watch on CSafe and affirmed CSafe's AAAm credit rating, the highest rating for a local government investment pool. SALES TAX REPORT FOR THE PERIOD ENDED DECEMBER 31,2009 The Tax Manager presented the December 31,2009 Sales Tax Report including the year end quarterly reports. The reports and the corresponding narrative can be located on the City's website at www.louisvilleco.Qov. FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE PERIOD ENDING DECEMBER 31,2009 The Accounting Manager presented preliminary Financial Statements for the period ending December 31, 2009. The statements and corresponding narrative can be located on the City's website at www.louisvilleco.Qov. LIST OF BILLS The Committee reviewed the List of Bills scheduled for approval at the February 16, 2010 Council Meeting. The list can be located on the City's website at www.louisvilleco.Qov. The Finance Committee discussed inquiries they have received regarding the purchase of grocery items for City activities with the closure of Sam's Club. The Committee suggested the City Manager appoint a few members of the City staff to visit the three local grocery stores to see if any special pricing or discounts could be negotiated. DISCUSSION ITEMS FOR THE NEXT MEETING & MEETING SCHEDULE The next meeting is set for Monday, March 15, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. in the City Manager's Office.
