This third annual event is part of a statewide <br />campaign called Pulling for Colorado. The day will begin at 9 am with noxious <br />weed identification training. Afterwards, we will join with our community to pull <br />noxious weeds that are threatening Aquarius Open Space and conclude at noon. <br />There will be food, refreshments, and prizes. Are you curious about the life cycle and activities of <br />butterflies? Have you ever wondered where Monarch butterflies go during their <br />migration? Come experience this beginner's guide to a butterfly's life, presented <br />by volunteer naturalists Cathy and Donn Cook. This program will review the <br />amazing life cycle of butterflies, and will cover basic information on behaviors, <br />host plants, identification tips and the incredible Monarch migration. We'll also <br />share some interesting facts about the connection between plants and <br />butterflies and talk about when and where to look for those 'flying flowers'...the <br />butterflies. All ages are welcome. <br />
