<br />City Council Finance Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />03/15/2010 <br />Page 3 of 3 <br /> <br />The Accounting Manager presented Financial Statements for the period ending <br />February 28, 2010. The statements included the latest amounts for fiscal year <br />2009. The statements for the City's five main operational funds and <br />corresponding narrative can be located on the City's website at <br />www.louisvilleco.Qov. <br /> <br />CASH & INVESTMENTS AT FEBRUARY 28, 2010 <br /> <br />The Finance Director recommended, and the Finance Committee agreed, for a <br />portion of the City's cash portfolio to be invested in CD's with various local banks. <br /> <br />The Finance Director presented the Schedule of Cash & Investments as of <br />December 31, 2009. The schedule and corresponding narrative can be located <br />on the City's website at www.louisvilleco.Qov. <br /> <br />LIST OF BILLS <br /> <br />The Committee reviewed the List of Bills scheduled for approval at the March 16, <br />2010 Council Meeting. The list can be located on the City's website at <br />www.louisvilleco.Qov. <br /> <br />The Finance Committee requested information on the use of Exempla Healthcare <br />in Lafayette for pre-employment testing as opposed to Avista or other Louisville <br />facility. <br /> <br />The Committee requested the City Manager encourage purchases from <br />Louisville businesses. Several purchases were made out of the city for grocery <br />and automotive merchandise. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION ITEMS FOR THE NEXT MEETING & MEETING SCHEDULE <br /> <br />The next meeting is set for Monday, April 19, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. in the City <br />Manager's Office. Discussion items currently scheduled for that meeting are: <br />. Sales Tax Reports for the Period Ended February 28, 2010. <br />. Financial Statements for the Period Ended March 31,2010. <br />.
