<br />ORDINANCE NO. 1015 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLES 1 AND 2 OF THE <br />LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Louisville has <br />determined that it is necessary and appropriate to amend certain <br />provisions in Titles 1 and 2 of the Louisville Municipal Code; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has concluded that the following <br />amendments are necessary to the above-referenced titles. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO; <br /> <br />Section 1. Section 1. 01. 020 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Section 2. Section 2.04.010 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code is hereby repealed and reenacted to read as follows: <br /> <br />2.04.010 OFFICERS - APPOINTMENT AND REMOVAL <br /> <br />The city council, at its meeting on the first Monday after <br />the first Tuesday in January of 1990 and on the first Monday <br />after the first Tuesday in January of every second year <br />thereafter, shall appoint the following officers: a city <br />attorney, a prosecuting attorney, a municipal judge, and such <br />other officers as may be required or permitted by statute or this <br />code. One person may hold two or more offices if compatible with <br />the interest of the city government. Any such officer other than <br />the municipal- judge may be removed by a majority vote of all of <br />the members of the ci ty council on charges of incompetence, <br />unfitness, neglect of duty, or insubordination, duly made and <br />sustained. Removal of the municipal judge shall be in accordance <br />with C.R.S. ~13-10-105 and any other applicable law. <br /> <br />Section 3. Section 2.04.050 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code is hereby repealed and reenacted to read as follows: <br /> <br />2.04.050 SALARIES <br /> <br />A. The city council shall, at least as early as its last <br />monthly meeting before each general municipal election, by <br />ordinance, fix the salaries and fees of the members of the <br />city council for the period for which they will be elected, <br />if any change in said salaries is desirable. They shall <br />nei ther increase nor diminish the salary of any member of <br />
