A-12 <br /> COOPERATION AGREEMENT <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day <br /> of , 1973, by and between the LOUISVILLE URBAN <br /> RENEWAL AUTHORITY, (hereinafter called the "Authority") , and that <br /> CITY OF LOUISVILLE, a municipal corporation, (hereinafter called <br /> the "City") , <br /> WITNESSETH: • <br /> WHEREAS, the Authority is a -)ublic body corporate and <br /> politic, created by the Urban Renewal. Law of Colorado, and is <br /> transacting business and exercisirq the powers granted by said <br /> Law by virtue of a certificate, s ' -tned by the Commissioners <br /> thereof, and duly filed with the neeretary of State of the State <br /> of Colorado; anal <br /> WHEREjS , the Authority, 'ith the aid and cooperation of the <br /> City proposes to undertake and carry out an urban re igwal program <br /> in the City, including, the Louisville `riehborhood Development <br /> Program, Project No. Colo. A-12 , (hereinafter called the "Project") , <br /> heretofore -approved by the Council of said City, pursuant to the <br /> provisions of said Urban Renewal Law of Colorado; and <br /> WHEREAS , the Authority proposes in carrying out the Plan <br /> for the Project to acquire grope! tv and improvements thereon within <br /> the Projeer area, as pro'idcd in and by the Plan; <br /> NOW, THEhEPORE, in consit't ration cat- the :tutual covenants <br /> hereinafter set forth, the Authority and City agree: <br /> 1. The Authority may enter into a Loan and Grant Contract <br /> with the Department of Housing and Urban Development, a department <br /> of the United States of America, providing for financial assistance <br /> pursuant to Title I of the housing, Act of 1949, as amended, as <br /> necessary to enable the Project to be renewed in accordance with <br /> the Plan for the Project, as fcillewe: <br />
