MOST with • Councolmen King, Jensen, Donovan, Scholl, Domenico, City Administrator iurl, City Attorney Morris, City Clerk McNulty present. Absent - Councilman Debar- ski and City Treasurer Hasson absent. ACCEPTANCE OF Councilman K ing moved that minutes be accepted as MINUTES minted.rented. Seconded by Councilwoman Scholl. All in favor . Motion carried. CORRESPONDENCE Councilman King moved that correspondence be accepted and brought up under proper heading. Seconded by Council- man Donovan. All in favor. Motion carried. (10VERINCRT BY Mayor requested thit the boys and girls present stand up YOUNG CITIZENS and be introduced. Appointed representatives - Mayor Jim Berry, City Administrator Skip Van Meter, Police Chief Kevin Mastriano, members of the City Council. Treasurer Vince Fererra, City Clerk, etc. CITIZENS ADVISORY Letter of application from Clifford Griswold presented COMMITTEE for membership to CAC. Councilman King moved that Clifford Griswold be appointed to Citizens Advisory Board. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. All in favor. Motion carried. lfI$ Councilman Donovan stated the clean-up would resume Saturday, May 19th, 1973 and pick-up to be completed on this date. Councilman King suggested we should seriously considdr compulsory pick-up. Also stated he would like to as. Council to have City Administrator hurl and Attorney Morris to investigate possibility of compulsory pic.--.1U at least once month. If residents don't pay, it en' . .. possibly be put on taxes; would also like to r.av , way of enforcing wasting of water when sprinc.in, Councilman Donovan suggested that an Ordinance be- d-..ftid in regard to trash being thrown in irrigation ditc.it • He also reported he had received a complaint in rrh.rd to the local theater regarding the tire code and no inspection had been made in some time. Mayor Carar.. reported that an inspection is usually made each ycar and since Councilmen King and Deborski are or this committee requested them to check it out. CLICE COMMISSION: Meeting to be held May 30th, 1973 at 7;00 P.M advised REAL ESTATE TRANS- Attorney Morris/he had the proposed Ordinance writce,: FER TAX on the real estate transfer tax but didn't get it xc-o" 4 in time for the meeting.
