All in favor. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Community Hall Restoration. Dick Ferguson reported that <br /> he has had the building looked at by an expert in restoring <br /> old buildings, and was advised that the best approach would <br /> be to take off the paint with steel brushes and repaint. <br /> The building is too old for sandblasting., All civic clubs, <br /> community groups and organizations will be sent a letter <br /> asking for contributions to pay for the cost of this project. <br /> Secretary is to send this letter out before next regular <br /> meeting. <br /> Mr. Ferguson explained a few minor changes on the plans of <br /> the bathhouse area. A storage area and drinking fountain <br /> will be included. Old bathrooms in Community Building will <br /> be torn down, which will provide more space in meeting room. <br /> SCHEDULING: <br /> August Hioco reported that since he did not have any regis- <br /> trants for open gym at Middle School he has turned over <br /> Wednesday nights at the gym to Chuck Scarpella who has a <br /> program started and needed a place to meet. Chairman, Keith <br /> Helart had been informed about this change and suggested <br /> that Chuck Scarpella come before the Commission at its next <br /> meeting. <br /> Quilting class. 6 people are registered for this class and <br /> JoAnn Purcell reported that they have been meeting on Thursday <br /> evenings. <br /> Ski Program. 4 eople registered for ski lessons. Secretary <br /> reported that Bill Kastning had been in with ski-lift tickets <br /> and more information on this program. <br /> MAINTENANCE: <br /> Jerry King presented the estimate from McWilliams Sheet Metal <br /> for a new furnace for Community Building. The amount of esti- <br /> mate is $2,532.00. After some discussion it was proposed that <br /> it might be a possibility that the heating system at the swim- <br /> ming pool be used for this purpose. Further checking will be <br /> done to see if this would be practical. <br /> Miners Field Building. Jerry King to ask Mr. Wurl to shut off <br /> water and winterize the system at this building. <br /> Memory Square Park. It was decided that the lights at the <br /> park should be turned off since they are so expensive to <br />
