REGULAR MEET/NG LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL NOVEMBER 13, 1979 <br /> City Administrator Wurl then advised Council <br /> a meeting had been scheduled for Thursday, even- <br /> ing, November 15, 1973 at 7 :00 p.m. at the City <br /> Hall here in Louisville with the council members <br /> of the cities involved, as well as Mr. Sparks. <br /> In the interim we should be considering two as- <br /> pects: <br /> (1) The Council's feelings as relates to <br /> a district <br /> (2) Ws ought to be thinking about tht number <br /> of taps or number of people that we want <br /> to serve from this project. <br /> One ofthe key things is going to be our initial <br /> allotment. Hr. Wurl then recommended <br /> to go on record in an official meeting as to <br /> Council's support of their proposal of a District. <br /> After a thorough explanation of the entire program <br /> by City Administrator Wurl and discussion of <br /> Council - Councilman Jensen moved that Council <br /> support the formation of the district with the <br /> modified plan as presented by Rocky Mountain . <br /> Consultants, and that all parties concerned get <br /> voting rights within the district itself. <br /> Seconded by Councilman Deborski. Roll call vote <br /> Domenico yes, Scholl yes, Donovan yes, Jensen <br /> yes, King yes, Deborski yes. Motion carried. <br /> FRONT RANGE DEVELOP- Councilman Deborski moved that Council support <br /> MENT COUNCIL PROPOSAL the Front Range Development Council proposal. <br /> Seconded by Councilman King. All in favor. Mo- <br /> tion carried. <br /> BRANDT CONTRACT City Administrator Wurl related to Council that <br /> he had requested of Rocky Mountain Consultants, <br /> and introduced Mr. Ken Rollen, to submit to us <br /> a proposed contract that would be done in con- <br /> junction with the City of Lafayette, and provide <br /> us with the following items: <br /> (1) Review our present circumstances and submit <br /> recommendations as to what we ought to do <br /> in the interim before Coal Creek is a reality. <br /> Specifically review site locations for a <br /> water treatment plant - the cost of which <br /> will have to be borne by the cities seperate <br /> from what the State is doing on the Dam and <br /> the water rights acquisition. <br /> (2) Update our present status. They would look <br /> at what we are committed to now in the way <br /> of additional taps and recommend some interim <br /> propositions that we ought to consider. <br /> Page - 2 - <br />
