Personnel at that number are prepared to help you. • Your Association officers have been in contact with Public Service Company officials' almost daily since this announcement. There have been many questions needing clari- fication. -. ..-• it: At the latest meeting November 27th, attended by some thirty builders, mortgagees, and Public Service people, many items were discussed. The situation facing the builders and developers is critical, and Public Service Conpany, is trying desperately to resolve the problem, HOWEVER, the cold hard fact is TMERE .IS NEED FOR the Gas Attachment Plan, and we are going to have to live with;' - and work within the framework until the situation is relieved. The following facts and suggestions are submitted for clarification: 1. . All new applications for gas service MUST be in writing, giving legal----- • - description and address if assigned. 2. Applications meeting residential requirements and accepted prior to-Janu- ary 1, 1974 shall be considered as a commitbent PROVIDED ....the customer (builder) agrees that prior to JULY 1, 1974, the structure will be enclosed, major gas equipment connected, and utilizing metered gas... (externally finished, roofed, glazed. etc.). WARNING: This is a firm date, and should be considered as such::: 3. If you requested service prior to January 1 , 1974 you should receive notice from PSCO outlining the Gas Attachment Scheduling and the cut-off date of July, ,1, 1974. At this time you should review the list of service request, and indicate IF THE SERVICE REQUESTED IS STILL DESIRED (by address). w,.. urn .►w 4^ WA v.. WAWA ...11 ..".--.64-.1.1" FAILURE TO RESPOND TO this notice by January 1, 1974 will automatically VOID THE APPLICATION::: IN THE EVENT THE BUILDER has not fulfilled construction requirements by July 1, 1974, and STILL desiring service, you will lose your permit and have to reapply in accordance with the scheduling plan. Your application will go on the BOTTOM or THE PILE and work its way to the top as gas is available and permits are granted. .. (SUGGESTION: It might be wise..to submit requests for service prior to • • • t; January 1, 1974 for hones that YOU KNOW OR ARE REASONABLY SURE CAN MEET THE JULY 1. 1974 DEADLINE. (If 100 permits are requested and only fifty can be completed. you will automatically lose fifty permits and upon reapplication these fifty rc; ests will go to the bottom of the pile.
