A. . :;_ <br /> • <br /> DESIGNATION OF <br /> WATER ATTORNEY Mr. Merl explained that after considerable research <br /> in regards to availability of an attorney who <br /> GEORGE VRANISH specializes in water, It was found• that George <br /> • Yranish who had previously done work for the City. <br /> and was the attorney the Coal Creek Assocation. <br /> he recommended that Mr. Yranish be appointed <br /> as the City Council 's water attorney. Council- <br /> woman Dhieux moved that George Yranish be re- <br /> tained as the City of Louisville's water attorney <br /> for the remainder of this Council 's term. Seconded <br /> by Councilman DiCarlo. Roll call vote - Domenico <br /> yes. Dhieux yes, Scholl yes, DICarIo yes. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> COURT COSTS: City Administrator Wurl reported that he and the <br /> City Attorney had researched the matter and found <br /> that the Judge has under the present State Law. <br /> authority to assess court costs. The City Attorney <br /> -and the Prosecuting Attorney are to discuss the <br /> matter with the Judge. Council also indicated that <br /> Judge Enrtetto should be informed that it is the <br /> desire of City Council that court costs be assessed. <br /> WOOD BROS. The Council requested of Administrator Wurl a com- <br /> a FIRST FEDERAL plete report as to the revenues derived in the <br /> REVENUE Wood Brothers and First Federal Sub-divisions <br /> from all sources and exactly how the money was <br /> expended. <br /> NECESSARY City Administrator Wurl reported that the Attorney <br /> IMPROVEMENTS representing the Mayhoffer' s is in the process of <br /> MAYHOFFER petitioning the Court for his removal from the case. <br /> CONDEMNATION City Attorney Morris and City Administrator Wurl <br /> suggest that the City proceed with the condemnation <br /> proceedings. <br /> ITEMS FROM Dennis Lundberg. Chairman of the Louisville Urban <br /> PEOPLE IN Renewal Authority, spoke as to the compensation <br /> ATTENDANCE being paid LURA employees. The Director is paid <br /> $14,784.00 annually - versus the $20,000.00 annually <br /> previously indicated. Mr. Davis was paid $16,700.00 <br /> annually;since May 15th, 1974 Mr. Davis has been on <br /> retainer to provide special services for the Board <br /> and has been paid in the neighborhood of $520.00 per <br /> month with approximately a balance of $200.00 or $300.00. <br /> • The meeting was adjourned at 8:36 P.M. <br />
