Mr. Wurl stated that
the voting machines are issued by the County
and there is not much the City can say.
Mr. Nun so stated that he felt the sew
machines are a better system as the citizens
can remove the cards and see who they are
voting for.
Mrs. Nancy Wurl of Boulder Election depart-
ment stated that anyone who can't read
the ticket are allowed to have the judges
assist them. She also stated that the only
way another party can see how you're voting
is if they stand directly behind the person
voting.
Councilman Domenico also stated that Mrs.
Lila Zurick informed him that she had written
a letter to apply for an election judge in
the November election.
City Clerk Santilli stated that she never
received the letter from Mrs. Zurick and if -
she had she would have considered Mrs.
Zurich with all other applications.
Mr. Merl stated that he was not aware of any
letter either and that all letters receiver
were given to Council in their packets.
Mrs. Wurl stated that the letter may have
mistakenly been written to the County or
to the party of their choice as is done
for general elections.
Councilman DelPlzzo suggested that these
people be contacted and informed that the
City did not receive their letters requesting
to serve as judges in the municipal election
3.
`+' i• .'
