I have enclosed in the packet a oopy of his outline. It is our rea m- 1 audation that the Council authorise the refunding of these bonds, and the suggested method be pro- posal B, which Mould in the long sun save the City an excess of $71,010.04. C. Alley improvement Proposal - submitting a copy of moo from the City Engineer to me giving an ani- ma* on what it would cost to apply peuepria+ to the alleys behind the bank, the post-office, and the balance of the alley in the City Ball block. On the evening of May 13, 1976, the Mayor, Mayor Pro-Tem and our represtntatiw on the Coal Creek Board net with the Mayor, Mayor Pro-Tan and one of the Councilmen, and City Manager of Lafayette to discuss this acquisition. They indicated that they would probably support out offer. They are going to esent it to the full Council at their next meet, and we should know after that whether the City of Lafayette is willing to sell the property to us, at the price vs have offered.
