Purcell <br /> Minutes of the August 5th meeting were read and approved. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS: <br /> A. Letter from Dan White to Howard Jury dated August 9 <br /> about repairs to the sprinkler system at Cottonwood <br /> Park. Mr. Jury has made these repairs since that time. <br /> B. Copy of a letter from Leon Wurl to Don West - amendment <br /> to withdraw Colo. State Trails project. <br /> C. Statement of Service Expansion Pee as of 8/19/76, $39,179.51. <br /> D. City's expenditure statement as of 7/31/76. <br /> D. Memo from city administrator - cost of living figure to be • <br /> used on 1977 budget computation for permanent employees <br /> is $30.00 per person. <br /> DIRECTOR'S REPORT: <br /> The city of Frederick has asked to buy the old lights from Miners <br /> Field. August has been told that $15.00 to $20.00 per light <br /> would be a fair price. The board said that a few of the lights <br /> should be retained to replace the tennis court lights until new <br /> mercury fixtures can be purchased. <br /> m. Several conflicts have occurred at the parks because some organi- <br /> sations have not notified us they plan to use a particular park <br /> at a certain time. No tee is being charged, nor reservations <br /> made, but organisations will be encouraged to call and schedule <br /> use of the parks so that we can notify them if the park has already <br /> been scheduled by another group.
