Item 6. CITY ATTORNEY WOW A. ORDINABCI MASSAGE PARLORS The City Attorney has prepared • rough draft of an ordinance pertAining to Massage Parlors en-- closed in the packet for review and comments there does not have to be any action on it at this time; but we would like to have your remarks so the good draft can be prepared for the next meeting. B. RRSOI.DTION #2 RE: ANNEXATION FRE8 This resolution was prepared as instructed by council at the last meeting. Item 7. CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT A. AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PROGRAM At the last council meeting we submitted a pro- posed Affirmative Action Program to Council and asked you to review and comment on it. If you have any comments we would appreciate having them at this time, if not, it is our recommendation that Council adopt the affirmative action program. B. WATER CONSERVATION EFFORTS REPORT I intend to make a report at Council outlining those water conservation steps that we want to initiate immediately and will have a recommendation for you as relates to restrictions at the meeting of March 15. C. FIRE HYDRANTS Enclosed is a map depicting the status of the fire hydrants locations in the apartment complex. You will note on the map our city requirement is that every building should be within S00 feet of the hydrant; all those apartments are well within that range as illustrated on the map. In addition, we have started work on the replacement of the hydrants at the request of the fire department. D. FIRS DEPT. INSURANCE REQUEST I just received in the mail a copy of the State Camp. insurance plan and in the process of making that comparison. A report will be made at the meeting. In the interim, Council may be considering, basically what they are requesting, they want that insurance in addition to State Comp. You can take what ever action council pleases.
