Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. rbtion carried. COWS COMA= Mc. Coll of Shannon Estates presented FIRE DISTRICT ToraPOydock with a petition incl 69t of t e residents in the Shaagnstates area requesting that they be included in the Louisville Fire District. She stated that there were some people in the area who have not been contacted as of yet. Mr. Foydock stated that the Shannon Estates *reeves questionable and now the Fire Dept. will need Attorney Jose's help in getting everything together. He stated that they are working on the district boundaries and hope to get a response from the County as soon • as possible but they do not have any time schedule worked out as of yet. LETTER. OF AGREEMENT Chief Poydock stated that he would like to have approval from the City Council 'meting that the Mutual Aid Agreement can be signed by the City, stating that they will give assistance or request assistance in emer- gencies from other fire departments in- volved in the agreement. Councilman McDonald moved that the City Administrator be authorized to write a letter okaying the request. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. AUDIENCE COMMENTS STEVE ANDERSON Mr. Anderson stated that the contract on 30 UNIT ELDERLY HOUSING the land purchase option will be up shortly. He stated that he would lies i Counc s approval on the agreement to have the time extension approved to the end of August. Mr. Anderson said that it is agreeable with the owner of the land; First Savings Investment Corp. . Councilman Domenico moved that Mayor Wascbak be authorized to sign the agreement for the time extension on the option to purchase land for the 30 unit elderly housing project. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. It was noted that there will be no price change.
