IN LOVISYILLZ <br /> May 20th and 21st, 1977 <br /> YMZ CAS, th• American Legion Auxiliary annually distributes <br /> Poppies as a continuing memorial to all voterans of <br /> our armed Poross; and <br /> WRZRtAS, the proceeds from this annual distribution are used <br /> to help defray the medical rehabilitation expenses <br /> of veterans; and <br /> WI1MAEA3, this citisans of the city have continued to actively <br /> support this program since after World War I; <br /> NOW, T1L RZ?OR+S, I, John Waachak, Mayor of the City of Louisville, <br /> do hereby proclaim May 20th and 21st, 1977, as <br /> POPPY DAY IN LOUISVILLM <br /> and cell upon all citisans, young and old, to continue to support <br /> this traditional program by purchasing s Popppy in recognition of <br /> all our veterans and in an effort to aid in th• rehabilitation of <br /> those who are in need of such heap. <br /> GIVEN under my hand and the Ses1 of O.
