N � . ' • REGULAR MEETING _ LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL AUGUST l8. _1977__ Mayor Waschak called the smiting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the following council members present: DiLorenso. Caranci, DiCarlo and DslPiazo. Absent: Councilman Domenico. Others present: City Ad- ainistrator Wurly City Attorney Joss. City Planner Drums, City Treasurer Hasson and City Clerk Santilli. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES Councilman DiCarlo requested that the record reflect that he voted "NO" on the C. D. Audit, changing auditors from Alexander Grant & Co. to Fortner Heuber & Co. With the addition, Council approved the minutes. COUNCIL ITEMS SWEARING IN CEREMONY City Clerk Santilli swore in the new VIVIAN DHIEUX councilman, Vivian Dhieux, who will be replacing Councilman McDonald in Ward II for the remainder of the term. RESOLUTION #6 Mr. Wurl read Resolution #6 thanking CERTIFICATION & PLAQUE Councilman McDonald for her services OF APPRECIATION TO while serving on City Council. A cer- BARBARA MC DONALD tificate of appreciation and plaque ware presented to Mrs. McDonald. JAYCEES LIQUOR Attorney Joss noted that all was in order LICENSE and proper notifications were made. Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. There were no comments for or against the license request. The public hearing was closed. Councilman DelPizzo moved that the Jaycees be granted permission to have their liquor license from Sept. 2 to Sept. 5. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Roll call. DiLorenzo yes, Caranci yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes, Dhieux abstained. Motion carried. KGNU INFORMATION Glen Gerberg was not in attendnance to discuss the matter. Mr. Wurl reported to Council that he did have a discussion by phone Monday, with the Sheriff department, who stated that they have worked out an agreement with Gerberg to utilize a part of th tower as requested by Council. Mr. Gerberg was to bring in a copy of the agreement, but he has not arrived.
