Wurl stated that what is needed t s• i1' <br /> authorisation for the Mayor to sign the letter <br /> of intent and Mr. Irahl is in attendance to <br /> discuss the bond issue which is needed along <br /> with the FaBA loan to match the grant of <br /> $572,000. Mr. Dunn Krahl explained the bond <br /> issue and the repayment schedule to Council. <br /> After discussion, Councilman Ceranci moved <br /> that the Mayor be authorized to sign the <br /> letter of intent to meet conditions as noted <br /> by FmHA. Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COLORADO OPEN <br /> LAND FOUNDATION A memo from Planner Drumm was included with <br /> the letter from COLF on the Estavillo property <br /> which stated that COLF will purchase the <br /> property and hold for the City to purchase <br /> from them with an agreement that it is approved <br /> by City Council. After discussion, Councilman <br /> Dhieux moved that the City enter into an agree- <br /> ment with COLF on the purchase of the Este- <br /> ville property. Seconded by Councilman Di- <br /> Lorenzo. Roll Call vote: DiLorenzo yes, <br /> DelPizzo yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo yes, Dhieux. <br /> yes,Domenico yes. Motion carried. <br /> POLICE JOB CLASSIFICATION Mr. Wurl stated that the Police Chief requests <br /> FOR OFFICER BRATTON that council approve the job classification <br /> change from Patrolman to Detective which would <br /> be used as half time patrolman and half time <br /> detective. This would become effective on <br /> January 1, 1978. There would be no salary <br /> increase. <br /> Councilman Domenico stated that he did not <br /> feel the City warranted a detective. After <br /> discussion, Councilman Caranci moved that the <br /> job classification from patrolman to detective <br /> for Officer Bretton be allowed. Seconded by <br /> Councilman DiLorenzo. Roll Call vote; Di- <br /> Lorenzo yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo yes, Dhieux <br /> yes, DelPizzo no, Domenico no. Motion Carried. <br /> ADDITIONAL PATROLMAN Mr. Wurl stated that the Police Chief is re- <br /> EFFECTIVE 1-1-78 questing that he be allowed to advertise for <br /> the patrolman opening so the position will be <br /> effective January 1, 1978. Councilman Domenico <br /> stated that he felt that the police we now <br /> have don't patrol the new areas that much and <br /> did not feel the City needed another patrolman. <br /> Chief Munger stated that he did not agree with <br />
