Councilman Meier moved that the City writs a letter to LURA requesting that they hold the necessary public bearings and begin on the application. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Motion carried. SEWER DITCH Mr. Wuri stated that Centaur Village CENTAUR VILLAGE is proposing some multi-family devel- opments in the area where the City's effluent ditch runs from the sewer plant. They have suggested that they put in a pips and build a new ditch rerouting the flow estimating the coat to be between $8, 000 - 10,000 and they are requesting that the City pay for the cost of pipe of approximately $3,000. Mr. Wurl stated that from the City's standpoint, the benefit would be that the pipe is sized for the total amount of future development. Also, this would help in the case of children playing around it. Attorney Joss stated that the City has no record of an easement for the ditch. Attorney Jose stated that if the City would agree to have the ditch moved, then we would receive an easement of record for the pipe line location, and Centaur would pay for the rerouting and moving of the old ditch. After discussion Councilman Caranci moved that the City Attorney check further to sea if he can come up with more or the matter. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. Councilman DtCerlo moved that the City Administrator's report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman Caranci. Motion carried. COUNCIL COMMENTS & COMMITTEE REPORTS Councilman Meier asked when Lake Park was oing to be cleaned up.
