• RESCHEDULED MEETING _ LOUISYI4LE CITY COUNCIL JUNEJ7, 1978 Mayor Maschak called the meeting to order at 7:40 P.M. with the following Council members present: DiLorenzo. Ma er, Carenti, Kilker. Council DelPlzzo arrived at 7:55 P.M. Councilmen DlCarlo absent. Others present were Administrator Wurl, Attorney Joss, and Deputy Clerk Mudrock. Director of Community Development Drumm arrived after attending the Louisville Urban Renewal meeting, Engineer Jiclnsky was present for the latter part of the meeting. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES Mayor Waschak and Council approved the June 6, 1978 minutes as presented. ENCLOSURES Councilman DlLorenzo moved that the enclosurers be brought un under the Droner head of business Seconded by Councilman Meier. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried. COUNCIL ITEMS CANDLELIGNTERS SOCIETY - SPECIAL Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. There EVENTS LIQUOR LICENSE. was no one in the audience that wished to support PUBLIC HEARING or oppose the application. Attorney advised that the application was in order and the property pro- perly posted. Councilman Caranci moved that the Candlelighters Society, Special Events Liquor License be approved. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Roll Call vote: Meier yes, Caranci yes, DiLorenzo yes. Kilker yes. Motion carried. JAYCEES-SPECIAL EVENTS LIQUOR Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. There LICENSE - PUBLIC HEARING was no one in the audience that wished to support or oppose the application. Attorney Joss advised that the application was in order and the property properly posted. Councilman Meier inquired if the usual procedure was to run the operation until mid- night. Attorney Joss advised that this special events license was In conjunction with the July 4th 1978 Centennial celebration and could run until midnight. Councilman DiLorenzo remarked that the Jaycees had left quite a lot of debris and trash from the Fall Festival and was concerned that this might reoccur. Administrator Wurl was instructed to notify the Jaycees to be certain their area is clean before they leave. Councilman OlLorenzo moved that the Jaycees Special Events Liquor License be approved. Seconded by Councilman Meter. Roll Call vote - Kilker yes. Caranci yes. Meier yes. DiLorenzo yes. Motion carried.
