Discussion included Ordinance #620 re- garding alcohol in the parks. After comments Councilman DiCarlo moved that Ordinance #620 be tabled until the next regular covncil.seoting and that the ordinance be discussed at the work session on September 26th. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Roll call. 'DelPizzo yes, Meier no, DiCarlo yes, Kilker no Caranci yes. Motion carried. ANIMAL CONTROL ORD. Attorney Joss presented a rough draft of a animal control ordinance. Council discussed the matter and felt that the ordinance needed to be rewritten. LIQUOR LICENSE CONTROL Mr. Joss discussed the possibility of a BOARD liquor license control board stating that it would act as a recommending board to Council. The board would review each license and come up with a recommendation for approval or denial. Councilman Caranci opposed the idea of another board. Councilman DiCarlo was in favor of the board. Councilman. Meier stated that he would like to review the rules before making any comments. Councilman DelPizzo did not feel the board was necessary. Councilman Caranei moved that the liquor license control board be disapproved. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Roll call. Caranci yes, Meier no, Kilker yes, DiCarlo no, DslPizzo yes. Motion carried. FIRE DEPT. SPECIAL EVENTS Attorney Joss reported that the application LIQUOR LICENSE APP. is in good order and that the request is for December 2. 1978, the Mayor's Christmas party. Councilman Caranci moved that a public bear- ing be set for Cctober 17, 1978, for the liquor license request. Seconded by Coun- cilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City Attorney's report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Motion carried.
